Privacy Policy
Effective June 10, 2026. The short version: we collect what we need to run the venue, we don't sell your information, and your text-message opt-in is never shared.
What we collect
When you use our website or web app, we may collect: your name and contact details (phone number, email) when you provide them; play and scoring data from our mini-golf app; driving-range membership activity; membership and purchase records; and your communication preferences, including the date and time you opt in to text messages. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
We use your information to run The Acres: sending one-time verification codes you request, saving your scores and rounds to your account, managing memberships and rewards, responding to your messages, and — only if you've explicitly opted in — occasional texts or emails about events, discounts, and updates.
Text messaging
Marketing texts are strictly opt-in via an unchecked-by-default checkbox, and you can opt out anytime by replying STOP (or get help by replying HELP). Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Verification codes and account notices are sent only when you request them or take an action that requires them.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third party.
Who we share with
Only service providers acting on our behalf to run the venue — payment processing (Stripe), text-message delivery, email delivery, and website hosting. They process your information under their own safeguards and only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Families & kids
The Acres is a family place. Player names on a scorecard can be anything you like — nicknames work great. Accounts and memberships are for adults; we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If something got in that shouldn't have, contact us and we'll remove it.
