Our story

Formerly Etter's Golf Center, The Acres has been a beloved gathering place along Mill Creek since the 1950s.

For seventy years it was a simple driving range, putt-putt and pro shop. In 2021 a longtime regular and a few friends bought it, kept the range open, restored the mini golf, and turned the flat-roofed clubhouse into a restaurant and bar instead of tearing it down.

Smashburgers, fried chicken sandwiches and house-smoked wings. Craft beer on draft, a rotating cocktail menu, seltzers and a few wines. Two 18-hole mini golf courses. Forty driving range bays, eighteen of them covered and heated. Trackman simulation technology. A four-season patio with fire pits and room to breathe.

Forty bays of real-grass, open-air practice, eighteen of them covered and heated for year-round play. Self-serve buckets from $9, no tee times, open daily from 7am.

Our four-season patio, fully heated in winter and alive with over 100 plants, like a curated conservatory. Fire pits, picnic benches and Adirondack chairs, with garage doors that roll up onto the range when it's warm.

The Simulator

A private, heated bay where the garage door rolls up onto the range: hit real balls, watch the full flight, and read the Trackman numbers on an 80-inch screen. Seats up to 8, from $50 an hour.
